Irving Kinnersley : Composer

Irving Kinnersley is a composer of electroacoustic and soundscape music, as well as composing sound for video.
His work usually evolves from field recordings and sounds recorded in the studio which are then processed in various ways to produce the final composition.
Irving studied electroacoustic composition at Bath Spa University and the University of Manchester.
In 2025 his piece ‘Estuary 2’ was awarded first place by British Electroacoustic Network, and will represent the the Network at various international events.
His work has been performed internationally at numerous concerts and festivals. He was a finalist at the MUSICA NOVA international Electroacoustic competition (2023), and was awarded first prize at the KLANG International Electroacoustic Competition (2021).
